CSO is looking for an IHT and Intensive Hospital Diversion (IHD) Clinician for our Clinic in Greenfield.
To provide a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship for children and their families in natural family settings such as home or school in collaboration with a paraprofessional who provides family support and training as part of the clinician's treatment plan (such plan serving as either the hub of a family's services or as part of an Intensive Care Coordination care plan).
(Intensive Hospital Diversion) To provide intensive, short-term in-home crisis stabilization and treatment to youth and their families to support diversion from psychiatric hospitalization and other out-of-home placements. To provide intensive treatment and support needed to maintain the youth at home safely and to (re)connect them to ongoing outpatient and/or community-based treatment.Responsibilities
Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field from an accredited program. Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and families, including experience navigating children's systems and supports within the community. Knowledge of and training in child development and children's mental health experience. Good listening and parenting skills, nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency in families using problem-solving and practical skills; familiarity with support groups or parent education group. Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight. Be an effective member of a Team. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds. Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software.
