Addiction Services Supervisor, Greenfield

CSO is looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our Addiction Services in Greenfield.

Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHCs) are responsible for providing a full range of client-centered and family-centered services and interventions for mental health, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. CBHCs serve as an entry point for timely, flexible, person-centered, high-quality mental health and addiction treatment on an urgent and ongoing basis.

This Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision for staff and interns in addiction and recovery services, will provide direct treatment services to individuals, families and groups, and will participate as active member of agency management team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular clinical and administrative supervision for assigned clinicians.
  • Provide individual and group therapy including psychosocial evaluation, monitoring and treatment, behavioral assessment and behavioral treatment planning, relapse prevention, peer support, life skills training/education, and identification of community and social support systems.
  • Provide supervision for staff and/or interns upon approval by supervisor.
  • Receive supervision on a consistent basis.
  • Participate in-group supervision when doing group therapy.
  • Provide emergency backup for cases of supervisees.
  • Provide medication monitoring, education and support to individuals and their family members as appropriate.
  • Maintain an individual caseload, as determined by Program Director.  Provide professional mental health therapy, crisis intervention, substance disorders abuse and/or related services in treatment of clients with mental illness.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary records and reports.
  • Perform at a predetermined level of productivity.
  • Participate in team meetings, in-service training, and other required meetings.
  • Develop treatment plans and goals.
  • Consult with other agency staff and community providers to coordinate care of consumer.
  • Attend staff and Agency Management meetings as directed.
  • Adhere to the philosophy of "customer satisfaction" and consistently follow the same by providing reliable, responsive, consistent and high quality service in a timely manner to staff and external customers.

Qualifications

Clinical Master's degree with three years' experience treating adults and families; three years' supervisory experience and clinical licensure required.  Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software.
