Intensive Outpatient Program Clinician, Northampton

CSO is looking for an Outpatient Clinician to facilitate our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).)

IOP Clinicians provide clinical services to individuals with a history of substance use in a daily, 3-hour group environment in western and central Massachusetts. They also work with dually diagnosed adolescents and adults individually in an addition to running the IOP groups.

As an IOP Clinician:

You Will:

  • Facilitate a daily, 3-hour Intensive Outpatient group for individuals ages 18 and older who have a history of substance use and mental health concerns
  • Provide individual and family/conjoint therapy for adults and/or their families
  • Develop treatment plans and goals
  • Maintain complete, accurate and timely records
  • Consult/collaborate with other professionals providing services to clients
  • Participate in treatment planning, aftercare planning, team meetings, in-service trainings, and other required meetings and represent the agency in a professional manner in all community contacts and interagency meetings
  • Provide outreach services when necessary
  • Participate in group supervision when doing group therapy
  • Exhibit knowledge of the process of addiction using a trauma-informed lens and a belief in harm reduction
  • Demonstrate competence in evidenced-based approaches towards client engagement and treatment including motivational interviewing techniques

Your Background:

  • Clinical Master's degree 
  • Post Master's experience (preferred) in treatment of adults and/or families  
  • Must be licensed or license eligible  
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
