Senior Clinician, Triage and Integration, Pittsfield

CSO is looking for a Senior Clinician for Triage and Integration. 

This Clinician will be part of our management team and assist clients in their journey in connecting to supports and services that best match their unique needs. This role is responsible for ensuring full integration of CSO services for individual clients, including conducting initial intake assessments and triaging appropriately.

As a Senior Clinician for Triage and Integration:

You Will:

  • Conduct intake assessments for all service calls (including walk-ins) from referrals and consumers in all programs, including Outpatient, Family Support and Crisis/Respite 
  • Collect and enter all demographic and insurance information and verify insurance
  • Determine level of urgency: routine or crisis, and triage appropriately
  • Make appropriate internal agency and program referrals for clients as needed, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all CSO programs and referral sources
  • Follow all CSO intake procedures and preliminary assessment of client need
  • Schedule family assessment or other program appointments as appropriate
  • Collaborate with other clinical/program staff as needed on service requests
  • Perform Bridge Consults on an outreach basis for clients being discharged from the hospital or other outreach setting as needed
  • Conduct "transition" visits with clients in need of support prior to a scheduled CSO program visit
  • Stay informed about payor requirements and managed care plans
  • Handle inquiries about authorized treatment and benefit plans
  • Discharge client-closed at intake
  • Act as liaison between CSO and community agencies and groups as appropriate

Your Background:

Clinical Master's degree 

  • Independent clinical license (preferred)
  • Previous experience in behavioral health (preferred) 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
