CSO is looking for a Supervising Clinician for our Respite program in Pittsfield. 
The Supervising Clinician will provide clinical services to clients in the agency's Emergency Services Programs (ESP) Respite, and supervision and training to ESP Respite staff members. 
Our Respite services offer clients a quiet, home-like atmosphere. We provide daily assessment and brief counseling, case management, nursing support and peer support. Respite services have recovery and wellness focused groups, psychiatric consultation when needed and also provide discharge planning. 
Starting salary: $64,000-$73,000/year
As an ESP Respite Supervising Clinician:
You Will:
- Provide clinical services to residents of the Respite program including risk assessment for unplanned discharges and intake assessment and treatment planning for admissions. Additional clinical services to Respite clients as directed including treatment planning, clinical interviews, case management, ongoing support and interventions, daily check-ins and support around client's treatment plans, and discharge planning.
- Participate in Respite monthly meetings with DMH to discuss triage of waiting list clients and review proposed referrals. Give input regarding clinical appropriateness or anticipated needs of referred clients. Work collaboratively with the Senior Program Director and DMH to facilitate intakes.
- Provide brief assessment for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis while enrolled in Respite, and work with area agencies (Crisis, hospital) to manage or escalate emergency behavioral health care as needed.
- Supervise Respite staff on assigned shift, and provide feedback and support to staff regarding the work with the population served by Respite.
- Provide support to all staff on assigned shift as needed, including coaching and mentoring staff by modeling trauma informed, clinically appropriate interventions with persons served.
- Function as a member of the management team which includes the Senior Program Director and Nurse Manager.
- Maintain a regular presence on Teams communication threads and email during work hours.
- Maintain positive professional working relationships and collaborate care with DMH and other agencies involved in patient services, represent CSO services professionally and act as a liaison with community agencies.
- Monitor Respite clients, including hourly bed checks and documentation, and provide closer observation as needed.
- Consult with Supervisor on clinical and staffing concerns as needed.  
Your Background:
 - Clinical Master's degree required 
- Two years' relevant experience (preferred)  
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- Highest level of Massachusetts' licensure in      appropriate discipline (or eligible for)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
