Relief/Per Diem/Float Counselors - Entry Level & Clinical

We're hiring Relief/Per Diem Float Counselors to provide direct support to clients across multiple programs and sites.

Starting Pay: $ 18.50- $ 20.50/hour

You Will:

  • Assist clients/guests with daily living activities, including self-care, meals, recreation, and medication administration/documentation.
  • Monitor clients/guests through rounds, hourly checks, and observations, responding to crises as needed.
  • Greet, communicate, and respond to clients/guests with respect, empathy, and sensitivity.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and dignified environment for all clients/guests.
  • Coordinate daily activities, including intake, bed assignments, meals, social support groups, and safety assessments.
  • Document client/guest interactions, incidents, and progress in electronic records; communicate effectively with team members.
  • Support clients/guests in engaging with systems of care and divert from emergency interventions when possible.
  • Enforce program/shelter rules, including adherence to schedules, chores, and safety protocols.
  • Participate as an active member of the treatment or support team, including preparing reports, presenting cases, and obtaining approvals when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the integrity of the facility and well-being of clients/guests.

    As a member of our centralized float pool, you'll have the opportunity to support multiple sites and teams, stepping in where coverage is needed, offering consistency while gaining experience across varied clinical and community settings.

    Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Experience in the behavioral/mental health field.
    • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
