Psychiatrist, Leominster

CSO is looking for a Psychiatrist for our clinic in Leominster.

This position will provide diagnostic and evaluation services, as well as ongoing medication monitoring and treatment for clients. The role will work closely with staff, and provide consultation and supervision to other CNS/RN staff onsite.

As a Psychiatrist:

You Will:

  • Provide diagnostic and evaluation services for clients, and prescribe needed medication.
  • Conduct medication reviews and monitoring, as needed.
  • Provide medical and psychiatric consultations to staff.
  • Collaborate with staff from other programs and agencies in order to coordinate care.
  • Evaluate or assist in the evaluation of clients in need of emergency treatment services for possible hospitalization.
  • Represent the agency in a positive manner and maintain good working relationships with other agencies and professionals.
  • Attend job-related meetings.
  • Complete necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Comply with requirements of DMH, DPH, other regulatory authorities, and third-party payors regarding record keeping.Follow CSO's record-keeping policies.
  • Provide services to Rogers' orders clients as needed.
  • If working with the Emergency Services program, collaborate with program staff who have MSN degrees to provide comprehensive, flexible medication services to clients; conduct court-related assessments as needed.

Your Background:

  • Massachusetts licensed Physician with Board certification in psychiatry
  • Three years of related experience in mental health treatment
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
