Administrative Support Specialist, Northampton

CSO is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist to join our HR team.

This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Administrative and Human Resources teams. This role also participates in various department initiatives and projects.

As an Administrative Support Specialist:

You Will:

  • Provide administrative and/or clerical assistance with various phases of projects, department initiatives or processes
  • Perform general reception coverage, answering, screening and directing phone calls and greeting visitors
  • Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distribute items.
  • Log pertinent information or changes to information into HRIS or LMS database
  • Run relevant reports from HRIS or LMS database and send to relevant personnel as directed
  • Maintain HR email address mailbox, processing email requests daily and forwarding others to appropriate personnel
  • Create and send monthly birthday cards from the agency, as well as cards such as congratulations and sympathy  
  • Coordinate trainings and meetings as required
  • Attend staff meetings as an added value member of the Administrative team
  • Adhere to the philosophy of "customer satisfaction" and consistently follow the same by providing reliable, responsive, consistent, trauma-informed and high-quality service in a timely manner to staff and external customers

Your Background:

  • High school diploma and at least two years of office experience 
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
