Regional Program Director - ESP/CCS/PACT

CSO is seeking a Regional Program Director to provide clinical and administrative leadership to all of the Community Crisis Stabilization(CCS)/Respite Programs within the Emergency Service Program (ESP) in Berkshire, Hampshire, Franklin, and North Quabbin counties, and additional programs as they come online through agency growth.

The Regional Director supports and has administrative oversight of the CCS and Respite Program Directors; provides administrative leadership to the teams; works to ensure and maintain consistency of delivery and practices across the four locations through team meetings and regular presence at sites; supports and enhances efforts toward ED and inpatient diversion; supports relationships with community partners, funders, and MBHP; collaborates with HR around hiring and best practices; and participate in senior management meetings and initiatives.

As a Regional Program Director:

You Will:

  • Oversee the ongoing operations of the CCS and Respite programs in four locations across four counties with a focus on best practices in hiring and programming, agency and funder compliance, aligning policies and practices across all sites, and fostering collaboration and team dynamics between all branches of CCS and Respite services.
  • Support Vice President's oversight and goals for the program including regular reviews of staffing, operations, and any internal issues.
  • Provide support in regard to performance management and corrective action in collaboration with Vice President.
  • Be knowledgeable and current regarding all CSO Policies and Procedures applicable to the CCS, Respite and PACT programs.
  • Participate in all activities from planning to launch of new programs in CCS, Respite, or closely related programming as it develops.
  • Be knowledgeable about requirements for insurance authorizations and billing relevant to CCS and PACT clients.
  • Be knowledgeable about, and regularly review, service documentation for quality, consistency, and compliance with agency and regulatory expectations.
  • Increase ED diversion to CCS beds by working closely with CCS teams, community partners, referral sources, and CSO internal services to maximize use of CCS as an alternative to ED and inpatient.

Your Background:

  • Clinical Master's degree with at least five years' working with persons diagnosed with mental illness and/or behavioral challenges (required)
  • Maintains independent licensure, e.g. LICSW, LMHC, LMFT (required)
  • Prior knowledge of residential or inpatient programs with at least three years supervisory and management experience
  • Experience with Utilization Review and Quality Improvement
