Clinician, PACT Youth, Pittsfield

CSO is looking for a Clinician for our PACT-Youth team in Pittsfield.

Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an evidence-based intensive outpatient treatment program designed to assist youth overcome the barriers to their recovery from severe and persistent behavioral health disorders. 

As a PACT-Youth Clinician:

You Will:

  • Provide individual and group therapy and psychoeducation in office and community settings
  • Assist with completion of intakes and facilitation of holding sessions/brief intervention services when needed
  • Propose, develop, recruit and conduct substance abuse, rehabilitation and treatment groups
  • Utilize appropriate evidence-based practices and best practices in providing individual and family interventions to the Youth Served and their Family, as indicated by the Youth's Treatment Plan. 
  • Provide skills training and assistance in areas of daily living activities 
  • Provide motivational counseling, prompting, and intensive support to consumers during psychiatric crises or periods of transition
  • Provide education and support with identifying community resources including appropriate mental health, addiction and medical services, and accessing services of choice
  • Provide assistance with developing and maintaining a "natural support network" of family and friends.
  • Provide crisis and intervention treatment services as members of mini-treatment team; work with team and individual to minimize use of inpatient psychiatric treatment via rapid access and development of hospital diversion tactics to include medication assessment and treatment, increased intensity of services, and environmental adaptation as indicated 
  • Provide stage specific individual and group substance abuse treatment to clients with coexisting substance use disorders; coordinate admissions to structured and safe environments such as hospitals, crisis stabilization beds, respite or detox units as indicated

Your Background:

  • Clinical Master's degree required
  • Experience in treatment of adults and/or families (preferred)  
  • Must be eligible for or hold highest level of Massachusetts' licensure in appropriate discipline, LICSW or LMHC (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
