Educational Liaison, FRC, Gardner

CSO is looking for an Educational Liaison for our Family Resource Center (FRC.)

This position will provide case management services relating to educational needs for FRC children and families. Services will be provided on-site or on an outreach basis.

As an Educational Liaison:

You Will:

  • Work collaboratively with local school districts to help Family Members navigate through educational and school related concerns and needs
  • Work with school districts in identifying families and youth in need of services
  • Provide on-site educational leadership of GED, technology center and career coaching
  • Coordinate with community resources to bring educational supports and network partners on site for support to FRC youth and their Families
  • Participate in meetings with teachers, including assistance in getting IEP's for youth
  • Coordinate special events and other interagency activities that involve area schools
  • Work with the FRC staff team to support programming at the FRC

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of high school diploma or Associate's degree and applicable experience
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Familiarity with support groups or parent education groups
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
