Clubhouse Unit Coordinator, GRH, Greenfield

CSO is seeking a Clubhouse Unit Coordinator to join us at the Green River House in Greenfield.

Green River House is a vocational, educational and rehabilitation program for individuals living with mental health challenges, based upon the "Fountain House" model. The Clubhouse Unit Coordinator will work side by side with the Clubhouse membership to build genuine relationships and obtain their life goals. Based upon the member's needs, their goals may include the following; Employment, Education, Housing, Benefit Management, Financial Management and Socialization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform supportive services to provide personal and job skills training.
  • Complete work interest evaluations plans.
  • Provide support and follow-up for program members.
  • Act as liaison with other agencies involved with members.
  • Participate in treatment planning, team meeting, in-services and other relevant meetings.
  • Consult with clinical staff.
  • Plan and facilitate vocational and recreational activities.
  • Provide program coverage as assigned.
  • Assure maintenance of the clubhouse facility.
  • Coordinate a Clubhouse work unit.

Qualifications

Two years of experience in mental health program with a similar population. Knowledge and desire to work within (the clubhouse) a "Fountain House" model program.  Ability to work cooperatively, independently and with supervision.  The ability to handle situations in a professional manner at all times with clientele, staff, and external sources.  Must be flexible, possess good communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively work as part of a team.  Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software. Previous direct care experience in human services, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members and staff, knowledge of local business community, knowledge of social services benefits and community resources, and experience with vocational programs strongly preferred.
