Clinical Supervisor, Northampton

CSO is looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our CBHC Clinic in Northampton.

Looking for a rewarding job with an opportunity to help individuals in their quest for stability, growth, and a positive quality of life?  CSO has an opening for a Clinical Supervisor for our Clinic in Northampton, MA, providing clinical and administrative supervision for staff and interns. This position will provide direct treatment services to individuals, families and groups and will participate as an active member of the agency management team, including the Clinic Director, other Clinical Supervisors, Integrated Services Managers, Psychiatrists and Clinical Nurse Specialists.

CSO provides an Excellent work environment with a great management team and top notch technology (including Electronic Health Records).  CSO fully supports mental health licensure with regular supervision and a plethora of free in-house and on-site training opportunities that are CEU authorized by various licensing organizations.  We are also a Trauma-Informed Agency, practicing trauma-informed care and offering regular trainings and an internal Trauma-Informed Care Certification program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular clinical and administrative supervision for assigned clinicians.
  • Participate in hiring process or disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Supervise other staff or interns as required.
  • Provide emergency backup for cases of supervisees.
  • Provide medication monitoring, education and support to individuals and their family members as appropriate.
  • Provide psycho-social assessments for assigned clients

Qualifications

Clinical Master's degree with three years of experience treating adults and families. Three years of supervisory experience and clinical licensure required (LICSW, LMHC OR LMFT.)  Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software. Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds.
