The Family Resource Center is a community- based, family focused program supporting parents, caregivers, and their children ages birth to 18. The FRC provides linkages to community resources to help with basic needs, family support, and help with resources. We provide a holistic array of activities for families that include support groups for parents, evidence based parenting groups, school support, as well as arts, cultural, and recreational activities. The staff work as a team to support the activities and families of the FRC.

A Family Partner provides support and coaching to parents & caregivers. The Family Partner is also on the team to support families referred in response to a Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) request and help caregivers navigate systems to support their child. The Family Partner will facilitate groups, assist with childcare, and may be involved in the arts and recreational activities. CSO provides excellent training and supervision for Family Partners. To be a Family Partner at CSO, you must have a high school diploma or GED as well as two years' experience working with children, adolescents or transition age youth. Family Partners to have experience as parent or caregiver of a youth with special needs, preferably, mental health needs. The qualified candidate must have a willingness to share their experience with child serving systems. Additionally, we ask that you possess the ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends with some flexible hours. Computer proficiency including the ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software are also preferred.
