Supervising Clinician, Family Resource Center

Our Family Resource Center (FRC) located in Amherst, MA is a family centered program that serves families with children 0-18 years old.  We offer multi-cultural parenting programs, support groups, early childhood services, information and referral resources and education for families.  We also provide access to information and assistance related to health care, safety, employment training, education, peer support and a place for families to relax and have fun with each other.  Our goal is to support families to strengthen their bonds, connect to others, and engage in their community. Our core values include a trauma informed approach as well as respect, trust, safety, wellness, caring, connectivity, and education. 

The Supervising Clinician provides on-site clinical support, performs trauma informed intake assessments to youth and family related to "Children Requiring Assistance" (CRA) youth and family members, collaborates with community providers including local court system and Department of Children and Families,  leads the  development of Family Support Plans and assists in referrals to ongoing therapeutic services, facilitates groups for parents/youth and connection to other community supports to meet the needs of the family.   The FRC team works collaboratively to support families, the team includes:  Family Support Workers, a Family Partner with lived experience, an Educational Liason and Support Staff. 

This position is full-time.

Qualifications: Clinical Master's degree with five years  of  experience is required. A Massachusetts' licensure (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT) is also required.  Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment, and follow through with projects. Computer proficiency required.  Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
