Program Assistant- Community Partner Program, Greenfield

Join CSO's Community Partner (CP) Program! Be part of our team of caring and skilled professionals as a Program Assistant. We are  a multidisciplinary team of licensed nurses, licensed clinical behavioral health specialists, bachelor level care coordinators, and peer partners. The team provides individualized support to adult MassHealth members who have complex medical and behavioral health needs, coordinates communication between behavioral health, substance use, and medical care providers, and connects people to services in the community to help them meet their health and wellness goals.

The Program Assistant provides assistance to the Director, managers, and program staff in managing data and administrative details related to the program . This position will assist in producing and sending reports to MassHealth and program partners, as well as entering new/updated client data from MassHealth and PCP offices into CSO's electronic health record.  Position would also provide outreach to selected CP assigned enrollees and collaborate with other team members on provision of supports and services.  

This is a great opportunity for a candidate interested in an administrative position with some direct client interaction.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and at least one year of office experience preferred as well as customer service or client/patient direct care experience
  • Experience with behavioral health billing and/or medical records preferred
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle situations in a professional manner at all times with clients, staff and external sources
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including patience and a nonjudgmental approach
  • Must have great communication skills and comfort in initiating phone calls
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities
  • Able to document activities in a manner that meets agency requirements
  • Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
