Clinical Supervisor, Crisis Services, Gardner

CSO is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join our Crisis Services team in Gardner.

Our Emergency services offer clients behavioral health assessments, intervention and stabilization (for youth, families and adults,) 24 hour availability (7 days per week,) support from professional Peers, and are a preferred alternative to hospital emergency departments. We offer these services to all individuals regardless of insurance or ability to pay. 

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide leadership and support for the operations of our emergency psychiatric services. You will provide clinical guidance to program staff, and also provide direct care coverage to our clients on site and in the community and will collaborate with hospitals and community providers to provide stability while supporting recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervisory coverage of Crisis and Respite Programs when on-duty.  This includes provision of clinical and professional guidance to counselors and clinicians.
  • Provide on-call supervision of Crisis and Respite Programs as assigned.
  • Provide intake, psychiatric assessment services, and appropriate dispositions for clients experiencing a mental health emergency. 
  • Facilitate intakes and assessments for clients that are referred for domiciliary supports.
  • Develop community contacts and coordinate the development of crisis plans and protocols for clients who frequently present in crisis and others as indicates. 
  • Act as a liaison with community agencies, hospital departments and police departments.  Provide consultation and education as needed.
  • Comply with Agency, DMH, DPH and other licensing authorities including third-party payer regulations regarding record keeping requirements.
  • Facilitate coordination between Crisis and Respite programs including screening Respite referrals, authorizing Respite admissions and coordinating crisis intervention with Respite clients as needed. 

Qualifications

Master's Degree in a mental health discipline as well as a clinical license (examples, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) are required.   Five years of experience working with mentally ill populations including at least one year with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.  Strong leadership, communication skills, and Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software.  Experience working in crisis services and/or residential or in-patient program preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
