Clinician, All-Stars (Relief), Greenfield

CSO is looking for a Clinician for our All-Stars team in Greenfield. 

CSO has a unique opportunity for a creative child-focused Clinician to join our All-Star team! The Clinician will work in our Therapeutic After School Program which provides psycho-educational and recreational groups with activities occurring both at the program and in the community. All-Stars blends evidence based models with a holistic, creative approach to support youth (ages 6-11) with emotional challenges. Our goal is to strengthen resiliency and help youth develop skills in emotional regulation, mindfulness, social engagement, and interpersonal skills. The clinician provides therapeutic supports, recreational activities, and collaborates with schools, families and child serving systems.

CSO offers Training in: Trauma informed care, Motivational Interviewing, Cultural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Mindfulness Skills and more. 

(This is a relief position, per-diem. Hours typically range from 4-8/day.)

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services to therapeutic day program/after school program families and youth.
  • Provide on-site or home-based clinical support as needed.
  • Perform trauma informed intake assessments and complete CANS clinical assessments.
  • Lead development of Family Support Plans.
  • Assist in referral to ongoing therapeutic services; lead on site groups for families and/or youth.
  • Participate in community based group activities; assist in planning appropriate activities
  • Ensure provision of EBP's as part of program activities; maintain training and proficiency in models
  • Participate in care planning and case management together with Youth support workers and other program staff.
  • Provide regular transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines and using agency and/or personal vehicle.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and timely records.
  • Consult and collaborate with other professionals providing services to clients.
  • Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, in-service trainings, and other required meetings.

Qualifications

Relevant Clinical Master's degree required (i.e. Counseling; Social Work; Recreational, Drama and/or Art Therapy, etc.). Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and families, including experience navigating children's systems and supports within the community. Additionally, we prefer that the applicant have a familiarity with evidence based treatment modalities. Training and supervision is provided for the ARC Model. Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
