Supervisor, Low Threshold Housing Program, Greenfield

CSO is looking for a Supervisor for our Low Threshold Housing (LTH) program in Greenfield.

This position will provide administrative and programmatic supervision for the Friends of the Homeless (FOH) Low Threshold Housing program, coordinating and overseeing all collaborations of care within the agency and with property owners. The role will manage operational needs of the housing units at all sites in conjunction with supervisor and serve as general advocate and liaison for tenants. 

As an LTH Supervisor:

You Will:

  • Provide leadership and direction to case management staff, ensuring adequate ongoing program supervision. Includes on call responsibilities in case of urgent program needs
  • Directly supervise Housing Case Managers, ensure training, oversee maintenance of job descriptions, distribution of caseloads, provide direction and feedback, and any additional management reinforcements
  • Meet regularly with Housing Case Managers for one on one meetings to provide supervision and to review caseloads
  • Schedule and facilitate regular staff meetings with supervisees; provide backup for coverage as needed
  • Provide probationary and annual staff performance evaluations
  • Ensure that the Housing Case Managers provide updated information on program participants' move-in dates, relocation, or termination 
  • Serve as the direct contact for landlords, property managers, and referral sources for the FOH Low Threshold Program 
  • Serve as a contact for the FOH Low Threshold program walk-ins 
  • Assist in coordinating move-ins, including the scheduling the date of move-ins, unit key pick-up, furniture delivery, etc. 
  • Collaborate with the Director to oversee all program operations including case management and housing placement operations to ensure client needs are met
  • Update and maintain client records including in Credible and in sub-program enrollments and third-party requirements
  • Maintain and update comprehensive tenant and supervisee information and documentation in the agency's electronic health record

 Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience working with homeless or at-risk population (preferred)
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
