Clinical Supervisor, Outpatient (A)

Looking for a rewarding job with an opportunity to help individuals in their quest for stability, growth, and a positive quality of life?  CSO has a Clinical Supervisor for our Outpatient Clinic in Athol, MA, providing clinical and administrative supervision for staff and interns in outpatient clinic; direct treatment services to individuals, families and groups; participate as active member of agency management team, and clinical services to individual, families, couples, and groups in western and central Massachusetts.  You will work as part of an amazing team, working with the clinic director, other clinical supervisors, integrated services manager, psychiatrists and clinical nurse specialists.

As an Clinical Supervisor, you will:

  • Provide regular clinical and administrative supervision for assigned clinicians.

  • Participate in hiring process or disciplinary action as necessary.

  • Supervise other staff or interns as required.

  • Provide emergency backup for cases of supervisees.

  • Provide medication monitoring, education and support to individuals and their family members as appropriate.

  • Provide psycho-social assessments for assigned clients

Requirements are as follows:

-  Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Mental Health field from an accredited program.

-  Required license eligibility (LICSW, LMHC OR LMFT).

  • Three years' supervisory experience

-  Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills.

-  Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight.

-  Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds.

-  Bilingual/bicultural Spanish-speaking are encouraged to apply.
