Dual Diagnosis, Outpatient Clinician, Northampton

CSO is looking for Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Clinicians for our clinic in Northampton.

Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Clinicians provide clinical services to individuals, families, couples, and groups in western and central Massachusetts. They also work with dually diagnosed adults 18 years of age and older who are experiencing both mental health and substance abuse involvement.

  • Provide individual, family/conjoint and group therapy for adults and/or their families.
  • Develop treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and timely records.
  • Consult/collaborate with other professionals providing services to clients.
  • Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, in-service trainings, and other required meetings.
  • Provide outreach services when necessary.
  • Participate in-group supervision when doing group therapy.
  • The Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Clinician works with dually diagnosed adults 18 years of age and older who are experiencing both mental health and substance abuse involvement. 


Clinical Master's degree required with post Master's experience preferred in treatment of adults and/or families.  Must be licensed or license eligible (LICSW or LMHC preferred.) Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and computer competency.  Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment, and follow through with projects. Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software.  Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
