Join the CSO team as a Counselor. We are looking for full-time, part-time, and relief counselors to add to our respite services team in Florence, MA. Shifts available are day, evening, and overnight.
Our respite services offer clients:
As a counselor, you will be responsible for the care and treatment of clients utilizing the respite beds, as well as specific tasks necessary to the operation of this program component. You can expect to establish a one on one therapeutic relationship with each program client by providing support and safety. You will assist clients with activities of daily living, including self-care, cooking, recreation, and medication responsibilities according to individual treatment plans.

Qualifications: Clinical Bachelor's Degree with two years' experience working with mentally ill individuals or two years' of supervised internship or field placement experience at a human service agency preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and computer proficiency including ability to work with email and word processing software. Must be well organized, able to work independently, follow through with projects, and able to function as a productive member of a treatment team. Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
